I caught two episodes on free weekends when I didn't have anything better to do. This hardly makes me an expert, but here's what I noticed.

It was very much a female fantasy. The four main characters were very well off financially, even though most of them had jobs that wouldn't support the lifestyle that they enjoyed. None of them seemed to work very hard at their jobs, yet all could afford anything they seemed to want.

None of the four protagonists seemed to have anything that I would call a hobby. Their time seemed to be spent going out to eat/drink, being fawned over by men and deciding who they wanted to boink next. Occasionally, they would go on a vacation where they would go out to eat and drink, be fawned over by men and decide who they wanted to boink next...just away from home.

Years ago, I read an article about a young, would-be journalist who actually thought that because she had the same job as the main protagonist, she should be living the same lifestyle shown. She even admitted that she was deeply in debt because of this.

I'm not about to criticize anyone who enjoyed the show; I like enough shows that don't really show 'reality'. But when someone starts identifying with the characters and thinking she should live a life like them, that's a huge red flag.

I watched a few episodes, felt like I was watching porn.

The first season is actually pretty good. Tons of red pills. Good analysis of relationships. Once it caught on as a show watched mostly by women it slowly changed catering to post wall delusions. The movies take it to another level and openly celebrate cc riding ho bags.
