For a date to be engaging and fun you’re going to have make sure the following criteria are met.

Effort: The activity has to require effort. Going out to eat? Sure, sounds splendid, but going out to a trampoline park is going to require both parties to put in more effort in the activity (jumping around for hours).

Awareness: Both parties need to be aware of the other’s presence. There is no point in watching Netflix together. She’s engaged with the programme and not in you. Head to the dance floor and dance while checking her out from head to toe. Make sure she knows you are undressing her with your eyes and she’ll follow suit.

Repetition: This is falling into the commitment department a bit, but you can’t just bring her out once and expect her to fuck you every week like a whore unless you keep reminding her that you’re more than just a god at sex, that you’re also the guy who knows how to have a good time. Bring her out once every two weeks or so.

Free of criticism and complaint: A little tease here and there is good, even mandatory perhaps but there is no need to beat her down with criticisms. A really obvious point here.

Need fulfilling for both parties: This criterion simple states that the activity has to be something that both party like to do. But screw that. Just do something you like. An activity that she likes to do is you, remember that.

Performed for a limited time: Do not spend a whole day out. Keep it to half a day max. Honestly, you don’t want to invest that much time in her, it is not worth it. Just do something really short but exciting and she’ll be squealing the next time you call her up for a date.

Now you may thinking, “FunkyMonkeyAssassin2, you’re putting in a lot of effort going through this list to plan a date.” You are right. It is plain crazy to follow these factors for every date but I’d rather not take the risk of a bad date. Honestly, I don’t have the time to waste on a ‘bad date’. I don’t want to have wasted my time on a girl because of a poorly planned date. Take this as a guide for beginners who just can’t seem to plan a really fun date. After sometime, you won’t even need this list. It’ll become something natural.

Now, I got this theory while reading up on ‘Reality Therapy Theory’. In counselling there are multiple therapies methods and ‘Reality Therapy’ is one of it. ‘Reality Therapy’ was created by William Glasser, a psychiatrist. This theory I wrote about was just a part of it, namely ‘Interpersonal quality time’, where they talk about how quality time can be helpful in creating bonds. I feel that we can use this theory to create better dates (opportunities) for us to display our game.

Criticise and discuss. Try comparing with something you did on a successful prospect and see if the factors are relatable.
