My friend who is married told me that he has a work colleague who is single and, as he knows me and as he knows her, we two share lots of common interests: we listen to the same type of music, we are both book junkies, she goes (or at least went before covid) to theatre, film festivals, rock festivals etc (things that I do as well), she is into painting as a hobby, visits museums, she loves culture.

My blue-pilled self said "let's go!, she seems to be worth my time, not like the others". She also looks good, slim, hits the gym, definitely not a whale. It was just too damn perfect lol

So I had to reactivate fb as I am off of everything that means "social media" just to add her and do some chat. Launched some jokes, she responded and we hit it off well. Talked about different topics and in the end she told me that she sees somebody, which I think it's bollocks.

She wasted my time and reaffirmed me that I am too old for this shit: talking on fb, instagram or whatever and all the time I had the impression that this whole process is fake and I need to make me valuable in her eyes, like I need to sell myself for her attention.

My friend suggested that I should continue trying, either later or tomorrow, to get under her skin, but my take on this is that hobbies and passions do not matter when it comes to attraction. It's either you are attractive to her or you aren't. Simple as that. She doesn't see me sexually attractive, so it's a no-go for her. My friend doesn't get this.

I have another male friend who is tall, blonde, blue eyes. Has the pussy lined up at his door. He gives a call and gets tail delivered to his house. If I give him the name of this chick and he starts chatting with her, it won't matter that she sees somebody else, or that they don't have a thing in common.

I also had another female work colleague at my last job, she was smoking hot. We also had same interests, hobbies. We were practically hanging out most of the time, eating together in the meal break. Nothing worked with that either as she told me that I'm not her type. Her type was the male driving a Bentley. I shit you not, she fucked a guy just so he could drive her to work, so us, the colleagues, could see.

My point is that it doesn't matter what you love, what you do and that you share the same hobbies. In the end it matters if you have big bank or you are chad or you are both wealthy and chad at the same time. When they taste champagne, they forgot the people they drank water with lol (relatable to my colleague experience that fucks Bentley drivers lol)
