Hey guys,

I’m at kind of a crossroads.

I freelance about 25 hrs a week in marketing and have pulled about 40k-50k per year the past two years. 25 hrs per week is my cap since the work can be really mentally exhausting and I don’t want to start hating my job/life (trust me, trial and error). Since I still have hours to spare, I’d like to learn another skill or find another job that can complement the awesome one I already have.

Does anyone have any ideas? I could just bartend or something but the job market is obviously fucked right now and I’d really prefer to find something that I can do from home so that I can work 40-50hrs fully from home. I would love to find something else I can freelance with in the rest of that time.

I’ve spent probably 50 hrs this year learning python and I’m quite familiar with HTML/css/web development but I feel like freelancing as a well-paid developer without actual job experience is a pipe dream.

Any ideas for how to move forward here?
