AskTRP was founded as a brother sub to TRP, so newbies and beginnners have a place to post, in order to maintain the quality level of TRP postings. As such, the posting requirements are a little more relaxed, but that doesn't mean LAX.
The experienced members who generously donate their time to this sub, as well as casual readers, burn out quickly on low-effort questions asked every day by people making no effort to help themselves. Part of being a MAN is taking responsibility for your life and outcomes, not waiting for others to hand you everything on a platter. We ask that seekers make an effort to lurk and read, to use the wealth of Red Pill information already posted and available for you to take advantage of.
Toward this end, we've improved and expanded the AskTRP sidebar. This is an ongoing project, more will be added over time so check it over periodically. We've included information to cover many Frequently AskTRP'd Questions, and curated TRP articles geared toward beginners. The idea is to offer a comprehensive Build-A-Man workshop so users can get up to speed on Red Pill theory and application without burning out the readership and posters with the same beginner questions day in and day out.
Once a reader has absorbed this information, it becomes possible to ask much better, more nuanced questions. For example, instead of hopping on AskTRP and being the third person today asking, "Wnat to spin plates, how do?" a seeker can go directly to three quality articles on plating from the sidebar. From there, a more nuanced question can emerge: "I want to spin plates, read the articles, I can't seem to get past "the talk" they always bounce at this stage, what next?" Questions such as this make for much more interesting discussion and content, and most importantly, reduce the burnout level of the experienced members staffing AskTRP.
Before posting, read through the sidebar. Your question may already be answered, and you'll get better responses to a nuanced question.
AskTRP helpers, refer posters to appropriate sidebar articles where relevant ones are available instead of reinventing the wheel with a new response. This not only helps avoid burnout, it guides others toward the information they need before they make yet another top post for basic information.
If you have any feedback about the AskTRP sidebar or want to recommend a TRP article or post to be curated there, PM me, u/VigilantRedRooster.
There has been a rash of trolls lately. Some are anti-TRP people with too much time on their hands, some are butthurt after interacting with the moderators, some are old-fashioned link spammers.
Don't feed the trolls, use the report function! It works!
If you see a troll or bad post, don't engage the poster in a flame war that drags out for post after post. This drags down the quality of our content and makes small messes into huge ones for the Mods to clean up. Using the REPORT function will call attention to the problem so the mods can take care of it- that's our job. Help us help you, REPORT bad posts, don't respond to them!
Complaining about the post quality on TRP or AskTRP is against the rules. It looks too much like concern trolling, and busy mods are likely to delete your post and ban you. I've seen perfectly good posters raise a legitimate concern about the content during a troll storm by making a top post on TRP, only to be banned. The proper way to report a concern about an individual post is to report it. If you are concerned about general post quality, message the moderators, don't make a new post about it!
Our stock response to complaints about the quality of posts on TRP is, "Don't complain, write the content you'd prefer to see!"
A shout-out of thanks to the senior members, endorsed contributors, and all those who help answer basic questions here on AskTRP. You're an important part of the Red Pill Network; a new generation of men raised in Feminine-Primary society needs this resource desperately. Thank you for helping fill this need and steer our society back toward a healthy gender balance!
