Because once they have kids, they know exactly what to look for. And it's even more offensive. If you know better and then damn yourself into a position you cannot get out of, how stupid can you be?

Those standards should have been in place before becoming pregnant with a man who was clearly not trustworthy. Asking for a long term relationship from a man who is looking for a woman to be a wife and mother to his children is an audacious request, since she has proven to not have good judgment.

It was one thing to see women who had a kid looking for a relationship, as they could claim to have taken the time to sort themselves out before pursuing a new relationship (keyword claim). The epidemic of pregnant women looking for a new guy to bail her out years down any facade that there has been a true period of self reflection and reevaluation. It shows little respect for men, as it not so subtly states that she is looking for a bailout. While this is still the case with single mothers who are not pregnant, the bailout request is telegraphed so overtly that it sends the message that she thinks men would be pathetic enough to take this offer. While she may find a guy who is willing to go this low, it sends a message saying that she thinks she is above any negative consequences for her choices. And sadly enough, she is proven right in her assertion.
