I've had two five-year relationships, two two and half year relationships, and a few 2-12 month relationships but in none of my relationships did I really feel valued. I tolerated her emotional abuse and even her cheating. When I realized it was over, I took stock of myself and immediately realized that I needed to make changes.

I wonder why it is that the same women who routinely whinge on about being left on the shelf are also those who refuse to make those same changes? What prevents you from hitting the gym six times a week and dropping seven percent body fat? What's getting in the way of you learning to cook and clean?
