Hey guys,

Been seeing a girl for a couple months. We really vibe and I could see her being more GF in a couple more months.

I have no problem keeping it casual though and am feeling this girl out to see if she is worthy. We haven’t made any commitment to each other or really talked about exclusivity although recently she told me I was the only guy she was seeing and vice versa.

As of recently, she’s been talking about this other dude a lot. And I’m not sure how to read it - is she seeing if I will get jealous? Or she is letting it slip that there’s another dude she’s hooking up with?

For instance, last night she kept mentioning him casually while talking to me and her friend. We were talking about friends who were attractive. who were catches. And he was the only friend she mentioned.

Then later in the night, we were in her bed which is broken / needs to be fixed. I told her I would fix it for her. Than 30 minutes later she mentioned that her “friend” was going to fix it. It was casually peppered into the conversation.

Is this a shit test? Or is she seeing this dude and lying about it?
