So I made plans the other day with my plate , I called to follow up at 6, didnt answer, she was a bit off about it later , texting me she was unsure about the night but she'd let me know. That should be strike one as it gave me a hint on her flaking , made me assume she was looking into other plans. I put my attention elsewhere for the night.

She calls about 8 teasing me about what she wants for the night, telling me to show up at 10. I agree. About 20 mins later she texts to come now, and calls. I didnt pick up the call , the text I did leave her on read.

My problem here I guess , is I assumed we were still on for the time agreed earlier. I should have called back.

Well I show up to her door, knock no response call no response , I assume hey she made plans see a car i dont really recognize. Cool whatevs. I might have caught oneitis or hamstered myself to thinking she might be sleep. So I throw a couple coins at her window to be sure cause shes a drinker . I get a call from her. Shes obviously concered about my behavior , I tell her well i thought she might have been sleeping. She said I didnt call back so she made other plans. I fire back with I thought our agreed time still stood, but that yeah I should have called , I told her I didnt have an argument with her , my misunderstanding , tuck my tail and drive home feeling pretty shitty about myself and how I'd handle it from there.

It was awkward but she calls the next day to see if maybe I had got locked up due to the corona curfews. Concern for me? Or to clear her conscious, anyways. We speak on the awkwardness some more I reassure her Its nothing as she isn't my woman, and explain on sometimes being in my own world or wateva. She rationalizes her reasons on making different plans , to not show weakness I compartmentalize the pain. Agree and everything seems fine.

She texts a couple hours later saying ," you coming over?" , "lol", I act as if I didn't read it , felt pretty disrespected by it , her fun poke at me , as the wound to my pride was still very fresh. She calls as I didnt read her text. I half heartedly answer late, about the same time she hangs up. I dont call or text back. I think to tell her, to not be disrespectful and it's not all that funny. But I'm unsure to show weakness. What should my response here have been? Show high confidence and dgaf attitude about her poking fun at my failure? Laugh it off and engage??Check her on her bad behaviour some kind of way?

I think it a good idea to call two days later , attempt to get her to give me a ride from a rental car return, as an excuse to see her. Ask her if she has plans for the night, Still feeling awkward over the phone, she reluctantly agrees admits to me she has no plans ,still early though. I say I'll call later to follow up. I think to leave it alone , choose to press on instead and ask if she can meet me later , she says she cant tonight. Strike 2 second flake. I feel pretty low must be oneitis.

I end up texting her a few things , thinking my behaviour from the other night might still have things feeling awkward. She leaves me on read.

Calls me the next morning to scream in my ear and hang up on me. She can be wierd like that, Idk wtf to think about it, I text some smiley emojis and blow her some kisses she responds. So I guess tension felt a little smoother or so. She texts me later she misses me , it's all game at this point , I text 2 hours later a bit more confidence , "haha it be like that sometimes" she leaves me on read. I Understand abundance mentality n after the first flake I should have left it alone probably?? Would like some advice on how or where I could have handled it differently without blowing it all up or dismissing her entirely, I found myself nervous at which way this will go at one point , but feeling better as the days pass.
