I thought I had a lot going on for myself, and I do compared to most guys. I have a good education, a very modest business, a nice house, and I'm in good shape. But then I meet these girls who have dated guys way beyond my league and I just don't how I could ever compare. It started a few years ago when three girls in a row I went on first dates with had dated professional athletes (NFL, NHL, MLB). They weren't household names, but it still bothered me. I actually dated one of them for 6 months and she would always make sure to watch the games he played. The next girl I dated for 4 months had a bunch of alpha exes, including an Academy Award winner, the son of a famous CEO, and popular musician. She gave me almost no attention, barely even wanting to get together for my birthday. I wondered if I had the status of any of the other guys if things would have been different. Before this quarantine, I went on a couple dates with a new girl who I was impressed by. She added me on instagram and what do you know, she dated a goddamn billionaire.

What do you do in situations like this? It can't possibly ever work, right?
