I understand where you’re coming from, but context is important here. Has the whole class been “woke,” or is this just one isolated question?

The homefront is a legitimate area of discussion regarding WW2 and one of the few examples of women contributing to society in a tangibly positive way.

Edit: as for minorities in the war, that is also a historical fact worth discussing. Segregation was a real thing, but shouldn’t be used as a catch-all for racism because it has little to do with the reality of the 21st century.

What is your purpose in taking this course?

If it's to get a useful qualification that will help you get a better job later on, then pass the course as efficiently as possible. That means to take the line of least resistance, never give your teacher an opinion that she hasn't given you first, and educate yourself on your own time. (a.k.a. reading around the subject)

If you're taking the course out of an interest in the subject matter, then part of the joy of answering this sort of question is doing the research. "Women, African Americans and Hispanics" can be taken as only illustrative of the sort of groupings the examiners are interested in. I'd look into the experiences of Asian, and especially Japanese Americans, and the experiences of disabled men (who often experienced prejudice if they weren't in uniform, especially if their disability wasn't immediately obvious.)
