Mom’s all for favoritism when it benefits her. Lower your income and pay her so she can buy the kid the cool toys that you won’t be able to afford anymore. We all know in reality what happens is she takes the money and goes get her nails done and buys another outfit.

That just goes to show how sinister women really are. Projecting their own behavior onto a man. It’s one thing if the man she’s with already has this behavior. But to say all men would do this?

Flip it and ask does the same apply if the woman makes more money. Should she have to pay the husband? Typically everything women say is immoral and is only about increasing their power

You work more and earn more?

You should pay more, because I'm lazy and I don't work as much thus I don't earn money like you do.

This is their justice - pay more taxes than they do and don't use public stuff and pay for private stuff because you have more money.

That would be a fair arrangement if she comes over several times a week for sexual favors and can't say no to any requests. She'll also need to clean both households and do meal prepping for the ex husband as well.

Any complaints about the quality of these services can be documented and taken to court over. She's free to end this arrangement anytime but the alimony goes with it.

What she has said here is that The child's happiness and success is based only on the shit that you buy them. Not the time you spend with them, not what you teach them, not your personality, not the activities you do... Just how much money you spent.

so just keep in mind that all the things women say are important, personality character, honesty, integrity... They're actually only counting up the dollars. That's all that they think matters.

By the same logic, if it is the mother who is earning more then she should compensate the father to level him up until their salaries reach equilibrium (welcome to sandbox socialism !!!!!)

I've heard that argument before and I don't buy it. Life is not fair. Everything doesn't have to be exactly even. To take $ out of one person's pocket to put in another's just so everyone can "feel good" and everything can be "fair" is complete BS. Why stop there? You can take this line of reasoning further down the rabbit hole and come to some ridiculous outcomes. If she wants to be able to buy him cool toys she can:

1) be a better wife so as to strengthen her marriage so her and the father of her kids stay together

2) work harder/longer hours to make more money

Or she can just get over it and realize life is not fair.

Government should not be involved in child support at all. No welfare for single parents. Custodial parent pays everything and takes full responsibility for the child. Non-custodial pays what he/she likes, and can see the kid in agreement with the custodial parent. Let the parents negotiate between themselves without the courts, judges, magistrates, police, and lawyers butting in. Taxpayers would save a ton of money too.

I agree, alimony is for the woman, if child support was realistic it would have to be done through receipts and goods purchased. The father and mother are in charge of giving $50 a month each for clothing the child where receipts must be submitted to an appointed arbitrator for review and etc

This way the money only goes to the kid for things they need. There is no handing of “cash” over to the other party. If one of the parties cannot afford the payment then it will go to claims and if need be the courts will have to step in to go through the payments and see what needs to be done be it removal of rights the parent has over the child or what have you. This is a fair and just system.

Obviously this is a crude example of how the system should work but the money should only go to the child and in the way described above it will be easily seen who is spending money on the child and who is not capable/not willing and would lead to more just verdicts in custody court
