Hey guys I'm MGTOW. And my friend of 12 years invited me to his wedding. And I don't want to go for obvious reasons (I'm MGTOW and I think its a waste of time and money ect. I'm sure y'all understand)

Many years before; I tried explaining to him that I'm MGTOW and I don't believe in marriage. And he basically busted my balls for it at the time. I don't know if he didn't quite understand the thought process or if he didn't want to. But regardless its not my place to save a drowning man who doesn't want to be saved.

Any ways fast forward to the present he's getting married (*sigh*)

So here are my options:

Plan A:

Tell him bluntly that "I don't want to go." And sincerely apologize just to ensure it doesn't effect our friendship.

Plan B:

Go because he's my friend.

Plan C:

(If i decide not to go I think ill most likely do plan A but I wanted to see if there's a "smoother way to handle this situation")

Ask reddit MGTOW for possible legitimate excuses I can use to not attend this wedding tomorrow.
