I've read that when women don't receive benevolent sexism, they think it's misogyny. I've also read that even avowed feminists like benevolent sexism. (Honestly, I think most women are feminist - but only a minority could be called radical feminists. Feminism is mainstream, despite people who continue to tell us it's dying out. So, I don't differentiate between feminists and women.)
