Love doesn't serve men well. It serves your offspring well however.

Does the red pill believe in love or is it just chemically induced pair-bonding between 2 transiently loyal individuals?
Why do you see those as exclusive? They can be the same thing.

I know that the sun is a giant burning ball of plasma. I know the rays have travelled approximately 8 light-minutes to reach me. That they're the result of a highly inefficient fusion process. That some frequencies of those rays help my body build vitamin D while others destroy my DNA. These thoughts can ebb and flow through my head but it's wasteful.
I then tune all that out and just enjoy the warmth for a few minutes. It means more because of all the ways I could be, I chose that.

What the redpill believes about love is all in the sidebar.
Your main issue - just like everyone in this bluepill society fed with Disney and Hollywood rom coms - is that you believe that love is the same thing for a man and for a woman. It is not. As a man, you love unconditionally, and therefore you expect your woman to love you unconditionally. And you freak out when you realise she doesn't. Her love depends on how you make her feel at the moment. The sadness/anger/bitterness comes from realising your delusion - and to me it is the most bitter part of the redpill indeed. But if you pause for a second you can ask yourself why your concept of love should be more valid than hers?
Your life depends on maintaining your health, your wealth depends on maintaining your job, your physique depends on maintaining your lifting practice. We men long for a woman's love that doesn't depend on anything. That would be our ports after long journeys across the sea. But since nothing else in your life is unconditional, why do you expect a woman's love for you to be any different?
Pack your burden of performance and put it back on your strong shoulders. There is no ports in this journey. Your woman's love for you depends on your maintaining her feelings. This is your burden as a MAN. Learn to carry it with your chest up high

This world that the red pill creates is kinda shitty...
Its not the world that Red Pill creates...the world IS shitty.
TRP is just accepting, learning and adapting to it. TRP is NOTHING about changing the world,no grand scheme of things shit such as that. Its for improving, serving(and for me most importantly, protecting) yourself from society which treasures women because they simply got born with a vag. TRP also helps improve your game, but thats not what i'm here for.

So you love the feeling of love.
You think that guys here on TRP would tell you that you are a blue pill faggot for loving someone.
That's not true.
it's not about denying of falling in love, it's about not letting go, not letting others know that you love.
It may be contradictory with some definitions of love, but you can't make yourself vulnerable.
It sucks, and it saddens me everyday, but you cannot fully commit to another person, especially by letting them know you did.
That's why many of us would say that when you start falling in love with someone, it's better to let that person go - maintaining frame for her would become really exhausting.
And once you lose your frame, it's over. Or rather, when you think you can lose your frame for her, just for her! It's over.
Love the feeling of love, because it's amazing. If you'd like to stay in that mood though, keep it to yourself.

Most RP guys believe that in the West, it is dead. That too many women are either damaged or brainwashed,to be able to love.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's as real as you want to to be.

There isn't any kind of universal.
There is the love a Father feels for his son; the boy that will grow up to be a man someday, a little version of himself. There is the love the father feels for his daughter, his little girl, his princess, no matter how old she is - she is always his daughter. There is the love a young man feels for his girlfriend, there is the love he feels for the girlfriend he wants to make his wife, there is the love he feels for the woman who has borne him children, etc.
Love is real, varied, and wonderful.
What you have to realize is that love is not arbitrary, permanent, or infinite.
Do you fall in love with desks? That's a psychiatric disorder.
Do you fall in love with men? That's homosexuality. Do you fall in love with children? Do you fall in love with every woman? Do you fall in love with old women? Do you fall in love with dead women? Do you fall in love with people you've never met? Do you fall in love with historical figures? Do you love people who betray you?
From unusual, to criminal, to ghastly, to unconventional, to bizarre - - you probably ticked off 'no' to each one of those questions.
Because love is not infinite, arbitrary, or permanent.
Love is built on adoration; and the sexes adore different things.
As men we adore sweetness, innocence, youth.
Women adore hardness, experience, maturity.
As men we adore women who get a little flustered, we adore women who we can be the champions for, the protectors of, the keepers of.
Women adore men who are collected, men who are their rock, men who comfort them, men who can tell them everything will be alright.
I love the feeling of cuddling with the women I'm fucking.
But I bet you don't love being the little spoon
I bet you love curling up around them, I bet you love when you out your arms around them, I bet you love when they snuggle up in your embrace.
Don't you see?
It's the motif of protection and ownership.
They love the inverse.
Both
And that's why we'll never advise you to marry, because the vast majority of women you could marry have destroyed their ability to uniquely pair bond with plenty of men before you, and all women have the capacity to want to trade up to something better.
Can I never trust a woman to be loyal to me?
Can you trust yourself to always command a woman's loyalty on your own?
Tough titties, but the world of serial monogamy, premarital sex, no fault divorce, no non-marriage, or remarriage stigma, and the phenomenon where it's "choice" when she has a doctor kill it, but "abandonment" if you don't want to pay for it, is not a world in which any institutions, social pressures, or financial realities win you any of her loyalty outside your own effort.
ANTONY
Octavius, I have seen more days than you. And though we lay these honors on this man, To ease ourselves of divers slanderous loads, He shall but bear them as the ass bears gold.
...
OCTAVIUS
You may do your will, But he’s a tried and valiant soldier.
So is my horse, Octavius, and for that I do appoint him store of provender.
It is a creature that I teach to fight, To wind, to stop, to run directly on, His corporal motion governed by my spirit, And, in some taste, is Lepidus but so. He must be taught and trained and bid go forth.
A barren-spirited fellow, one that feeds, On objects, arts, and imitations, Which, out of use and staled by other men, begin his fashion. Do not talk of him, but as a property.

This is what love is and trp truth.

Is there a difference? Define love?
You can trust whomever you choose, though I would advise caution when choosing whom to trust.

I don't think its real in the traditional Blue Pill sense, but having a great relationship and leading and being dominant and the man in the relationship and having her react and be very feminine is extremely rewarding, and with a great girl you can definitely love her, even if its only for the moment and not some 'for life' sort of thing

I haven't felt love for a woman in well over 12 years. I can't say I even know what it's like any more. This is where I fall on the romantic love scale now.

Science seems to indicate this.
it just chemically induced pair-bonding between 2 transiently loyal individuals?
When someone says the truth, the blue pill group scream you are bitter.
This must be the bitterness stage you guys were talking about.
Regardless it does not change reality.

The reality is that everything that ever was will die. It will also live. Which reality you want to focus on is a choice.
