Even in the Old Testament, surprisingly enough, God Himself is a divorced man. In Isaiah 50 God, who is male says to the Jews who worshiped idols and forsook Him, " This is what the LORD says: "Where is your mother's certificate of divorce with which I sent her away? Or to which of my creditors did I sell you? Because of your sins you were sold; because of your transgressions your mother was sent away."

It is very true. My cats love me because I feed them and give them water. I give the one cat insulin twice a day. You do these things for a person. The person likely will take advantage of your kindness. I always get a kick out of when a person says someone else is Too nice. As if thats a bad thing. Personally I believe that the reason why certain people hate the characteristic of being nice is because they don't understand how a person can be selfless. There are a lot of people in the world who do not deserve any kindness. Mostly women but even some stupid men also.

I find it hillarious how people will think of dogs as loyal or loving. Been living with dogs almost all my life now (my mom is a dogs lady, and since she can't live alone because of an illness...), and they've never been loving, or loyal, not really. In my experience, they're self-centered and their Love and loyalty is for what you can provide for them. Sound like some other creature we know?
