Me. I was just about to write about this. I just went to the local Walmart to buy a portable electric stove and a bathroom mat. It is freaking chaotic. But what was more impressive about the people pushing carts full of stuff they're about to buy is the people pushing carts full of stuff they're about to return. And Black Friday (and ergo the Christmas shopping season) technically only started yesterday and people are already returning stuff they wasted hours buying. I got tired just thinking about how once I was in that situation.

Also, the quantities of decently attractive women shopping and filling carts to the brim. Part of my brain was like, "Yeah, that one put out for Christmas money." Because even with the cheap stuff I doubt they can easily afford to buy all that stuff without done form of "sponsorship."

I can't remember the last time I was even at a mall. I hate the idea of black friday so don't participate. I got really mad a few years back because I was visiting for thanksgiving weekend and wanted to see as much of my family as possible, but my mom insisted we go shopping for all those great deals.

Not even trying to sound cheesy, I'd just rather see my nephews than get a discount on electronics.

Malls always have the same stuff that's made in china but they charge 50-100% more than wal-mart or amazon. There's no way a cheapskate like me is going to visit a place where I pay double the price for no real reason. Most of the black friday stuff could be found starting around 10PM thanksgiving night online and going through the day thanksgiving day.. there's no reason to even leave the house.

I worked instead... doubletime thanksgiving day, doubletime today... 60 hours of pay for 30 hours of work, more than made up for what I spent. Plus I shopped online while I was on break.

The only thing good about Christmas season is January when people get rid of their things cheaply for some quick cash.

I already loaded my local version of craigslist with automated search words of my "wish-list"

Else Amazon Prime is the way to go, even more if you live rural. Saves so much time.

I’ll never go to a mall for myself but for those that feel the need to shop for gifts for family(I do), I solved that riddle years ago. Everybody gets a bottle of liquor/wine/craft beer that I purchase on the drive out Christmas Eve. A handful of bags, and I’m out the door for $250 or so for 10 people and who doesn’t like free booze?

I only go to the mall when I need something I can't wait for and no one else in town has it. So far it's been 14 years and counting since I've stepped into a mall.

I avoid malls like the plague ... the music , the people, the fighting couples, screaming children etc . Fuck it . I use mom and pop stores Or online .
