I have not dated in almost 2 years. My sons mother was an absolute mess and I wanted to try to find the right person. I went on a date with this girl about two weeks ago. The next day she called me (crying) and told me that she was getting kicked out of her place and needed a place to stay. She has a wonderful toddler daughter and I had to do the right thing. Now they are living with me but I’m seeing a lot of red flags. I found them a place to live rent free and she refused to move there because she did not believe it would be her “forever home”. She’s telling me she loves me. When I ask her to clean up after herself she gets really angry. She has been on a shouting rant several times in the front yard in just a week. I Genuinely care about her daughter (and her) but I’ve been through this before. The next step is me being used and abused. If I kick her out I’m afraid that she will accuse me of something. I need to find the most legal and protective way to get her to move out of my house. I really want her and her daughter to be OK. But I can’t afford any trouble. I have a son of my own. Does anyone know how to make sure that these girls are going to be safe, have shelter, etc. while I still am able to get them out of my house and protect my son and I?

Edit: I did it boys. She has moved out. I had a female friend offer to put her up for free for as long as it takes for her to get on her feet. Not nearly soon enough. Every time I mentioned her moving out she would get really dramatic and crazy. I’ve seen those warning signs before. I let her know my past experiences and that I was going to be recording everything to protect myself and my son. It worked. Thank fucking God it worked. You guys are right. GYOW.
