This is kinda like my buddy’s scenario, his life is pretty much how you describe. However, he barely gets any sleep, is shortening his life, has little freedom to do things he wants, has to work SUPER hard to keep things as they are, and for what? Yes, he has good things, but in an apples to oranges comparison of the good things I have as a MGTOW, I would say I’m at least as happy as him. And what is he doing it all for? I’ll tell you, he’s doing it to impress people he doesn’t care about, to feed his ego, and to invest in his future together with his wife... who is like a child and has every likelihood to one day discover she’s “bored”, blow up the life he’s built, take 80% of what’s left, and lock him in to literal slavery for the rest of his life in child support (4 kids!) and alimony. From my perspective, just running costs/benefits/odds of it, even in his “lucky”/ideal scenario, he’s worse off than me already, holding his breath that his luck doesn’t change.
