Good movie saw it today, its crazy but it has a deep message, now I understand why media tried to warn people watching it. It's because they fear that this might happen one day, they fear that people might stand up.

The part where he said "you don't care about us and how we feel" is something that is really accurate nowadays and people are sick of it.

I never thought anything could top the Heath Ledger version of Joker. But the hype and controversy about that one doesn’t even come close to this. Perhaps it’s a marketing blitz, capitalizing on the already infamous portrayal of Joker by Ledger. I am still skeptical that Phoenix will portray a better Joker. Different, but not necessarily better.

Our overlords don't like the Joker because it unintentionally gives away too much of their game.

Arthur Fleck: The Unperson. Nobody cares when the Unperson gets beaten down, kicked around, and abused. When the Unperson rejects the Unperson status society has forced on him and kills a few 'fine young Wayne Enterprises dudebros' suddenly there are investigations and newspaper articles and breathless talking heads demanding that you quake in fear. Suffers in silence, in a city full of people. Nobody cares. Not even the person whose job it is to care (social worker). Alternates between fantasies of suicide and human affection.

Thomas Wayne: The elites are actually disgusted by you, but they want to rule over your life, supposedly for your own good.

Penny Fleck: A woman will lie, use, and abuse people in her power to feed her delusions.

Murray Franklin: The elites' chosen 'clown'. Safe, clean, sterile, no off-color humor, no politics. A shallow distraction for the plebes of Gotham while the city circles the toilet bowl. No moral compunction against humiliating the Unperson for his own benefit.
