The issue is you sounded defensive/butthurt (even if you weren't, this is how she perceives it).

There is no good reason to pay for a woman's meal regardless of whether you think she is dtf. In fact, paying for her meal likely makes her downgrade your alpha status in her mind.

I have gone on dates with women where we split the meal and i still fucked her later. Paying for her meal is absolutely not a prerequisite to fucking her.

Always tell the wait staff for separate checks at the beginning of the date. This subcommunicates two things:

Based on the post, I'm going to assume that he used the same language to refuse to pay when she refused to come home with him. By doing that, he linked the two actions. He essentially reduced the date to a transaction of money for sex. THAT was the asshole move.

* She wants his resources and/or commitment.

All that happens in the process, is both the man and the woman negotiating/bargaining for the best deal.
I don't see the problem with a dude not paying up; it's part of his negotiation.
I don't see the problem with a woman not giving up her sex; it's part of her negotiation.
If one doesn't like the negotiation, or what is negotiated for. Then one can leave the possible deal behind, and walk away.
