This is why I left social media. This kind of behavior is encouraged, lauded even(if your'e a woman at least). The only instance I can think of where posting on social media backfired for a woman is that girl who tweeted about bombing a plane or something and then when the airport replied, she claimed it was her friend and "I'm just a girl".

We had a lady do something similar to us. We reported it and she got a phone call from the police. They told us if she did it two more times they would arrest her for harassment.

We asked them about doxxing. They had to look it up (we live in a tiny town) and they said, “huh...yeah...there’s a new law about this on the books...we could go arrest her now. Do you want us to?” She had already taken the post down so we dropped it.
