I'm 33 self made internet millionaire. Parents were uneducated labours. I don't have a boss, and spend my time working on passion projects.

There are somethings that I learned. I wish to share with this board.

There was a point when I was at the lowest in my life. I was 27. My then-gf of 5 years branched on me to her co-worker. She told me don't worry, but then they got married and had a kid. I had a useless liberal arts degree, and outstanding student loans. When I was depressed, I learned that nobody cared about me other than my parents.

I did a test: I waited indefinitely until someone contacted me first. 3 months and one of my oldest friends reached out. Nobody else that I remember ended up contacting me. This friend ended up investing in my company, and helping me make my first big money.

He worked for my company up until last week when I let him know that it wasn't working between us. He took the option to stop "working" for me. It's true that you shouldn't hire friends or family. That's when I realized that the more "successful" you get, the fewer people you can relate to.

When I got more money, more competency, that attracted people to me. It was this one singular thing: money. It's like sprinkle this stuff on you and people will like you. It's not me at all; it's not you either.

So, my "friends" aren't my friends because they just like the money, and my friend that was my friend, I have moved on from because life has changed. Where I'm going now, with MGTOW and monk mode and being financially independent, it's a lone journey from here on out.

I'll keep trying to make money, and learning new things and skills, but I know that friends aren't real, and the only person I'll every truly have is my-self.
