Being a man is, ultimately, about one thing:

The ability to have a choice and then choosing to do or not to do. You choose to not have casual sex because it doesnt interest you. Pretty alpha to me.

Edit: also nothing wrong with wanting to forgo the slut chasing and settle down with a good woman. They're out there. Again, pretty alpha to me.

Too often I read about how this sub is vilified by the rest of reddit, and the rest of the Internet, for its oft misinterpreted views on women and relationships. I firmly believe that the power we recover when we allow these novel perspectives into our lives is what the true drive of the movement is. I'm in agreement with the other commenters here when they say the red pill is more about getting a fucking handle on your life and learning how to shape your world for you, which most men will try to accomplish through reframing their interactions with women.

If casual sex isn't for you, then it isn't for you. I am in agreement with you on this, but I'm not afraid of approaching women anymore, and the defeatist attitude I had about my life when I made a woman and a relationship the pinnacle of my desires has all but disappeared in the months that I've been introducing the manosphere into my days.

Be a fucking man and stick to your guns. Don't let anyone boss you around, least of all your woman (or women).

The red pill is far more needed for a married man than a man who only wants carnal pleasure from new women. The player only has to put on a front for a night, a few days, or a few weeks, then he can move on. The married man must tame his wife, like you would tame a horse, and you must CONSTANTLY tame her, or she will buck you like a 5 year old wearing daddy's spurs, and find someone else who can ride her properly [not a sex analogy.]

You have to put up with her moods. You have to not waver. You can't be too simpering or conciliatory, but you can't be too cold. She wants you to provide, but she doesn't want a workaholic. She wants novelty, but she expects you to always be her rock. She wants to be an independent woman, but she still wants her knight in shining armor. All of these things can be wanted by her at the same time, and yet still she won't see anything wrong with it. She will pick one at a time, or waver and waffle and change her rationalization without a moments notice.

If you want a long, fulfilling, loving, relationship, all I can tell you is to remember one thing: a woman does not ever complete you. A women is a complement to a man's life, she does not supplement it with her love, sex, or affection. What this means is that eventually, it will end. In one way or another. As long as you can accept that, and truly accept it with every fiber of your being, you will be able to enter into loving relationships, and be able to walk away from them when they are dead.

have a basic grasp of game, preferably via prior casual sex.

2.be so high value that her hypergamy is chained.

Lower your standards and marry an ugly girl. If you make sure your SMV is way higher for her to ever upgrade, you have a good chance. The downside is that you are married to an ugly girl. Some guys can handle that, some guys can't.
