Come on, this is dumb. First, this wasn't Jesus, it was Paul. Next, it is taken completely out of context. In-context, this is advice for virgins during a time of Roman persecution against Christians.:

1 Corinthians 7:25–28:

"The State of Virginity"
Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord, yet I give an opinion, as one having obtained mercy from the Lord to be trustworthy.

I find it very ironic that people claiming they're going "their own way" also proselytize about beliefs that were forced on them by a church that teaches the only true path is being a tradcon, and then they feel "rebellious" by having their own interpretations of a book already rewritten, mistranslated and misinterpreted for centuries by said church/political organization.
