I think it it healthy to both be rejected and to reject others if two people don't have the same objectives.

I know for a long time in my youth I was so terrified of being rejected, but it's like a bandaid. You can get used to that discomfort and realize it's not the end of the world and it makes next time easier.

On the flip side, rejecting someone else is very empowering (and why I think a lot of men and women actually enjoy doing it). It feels amazing to have a standard to to stick by it and to show that you're not a base animal. That you actually matter enough to decide for yourself if she is good enough for you.

I've done it too. Literally had a girl toss her clothes off and say "let's go" I left immediately. I trust my gut and when I get a bad feeling I bounce.

You can't buy class. For me that's what it comes down to. I respect myself. Too many men have very low standards and want to stick it in any woman they can just to say that they did it. Who cares? If you're not adding value to your life and taking dumb risks what's the point? For fun? Many men should acquire better taste and self respect. That's my two cents.

Same but I got burned early. Had some real dingers in my late teens / early twenties that swore me off women for good. Then year after year from friends wives who were whores to family and other women I realized what I was dealing with. I went off the grid and stayed there for almost two decades to the day.

Maybe it's having a higher IQ maybe I'm just weird but I've never been happier. The first probably 3 years giving up on women were the hardest. After about year 5 I didn't care anymore. Then sex dolls came out and well.. yeah. There's zero interest.

I can and do meet some very good looking women still and though they'd love me to be available I don't bite. I just don't have dreams anymore let alone a woman in any of them. Pragmatism and optimism for making the right calls guides me today.

Walking away from a sure thing at the end of the night is such a great feeling.

The one I remember the most happened about 2 years ago when after dancing with a gorgeous dental student for an hour or so, we were getting into the cab to go back to her hotel. I forget why, but she told me told hold something. Probably her purse. I don't remember.

But the way she said it was more of a command than a request. I just kinda smiled, thought about it for a sec, then told her to have a good night and walked off. Jaw dropped lol.

I regretted that move until recently. She would have been a phenomenal lay. My friends still give me shit about it. They call me an idiot because of that night.

But looking back, I'm pretty happy about it.
