Me and my younger sister went for lunch at this local Thai restaurant.
I am familiar with the owner and told her the story of how he went on a vacation to Thailand, met his wife, flew her back home, married her and opened a restaurant after her name which he owns and she is the chef there (Not the point).
My sister was inspired and told me how cute it was and she wishes to find a husband that will open a restaurant for her.

I think it’s a cute story about how much he probably loved her, but I couldn’t see myself wanting someone else’s story. The takeaway of the story bugs me a bit, that they’d wish to find someone to do that for them and not to find someone who would love them deep enough to want to if that makes sense.
I understand the point but the last sentence has me torn though.

It's unbelievable the disgusting and evil behavior that women think is normal or even commendable. I had no idea how many women think it's acceptable to shop around for a new mate while already married, and how many think it's fine to shop for a mate similar to job hunting where you go after getting the most money possible. With job hunting that's perfectly acceptable because you'll be doing work to earn that money. But with marriage, they're just using a man. Well, this sub is obviously more sympathetic to men and the injustice here is that she will lawfully get half of his wealth. I struggle to see any reason to give half to her, whatever the reason for divorce is. Sure, it might have been a just arrangement ages ago when women were considered to be inferior and could not fend for themselves.

In this case, the 50% is actually not that crazy, because it's been since '93, she appears to have been faithful and was involved both at home and in the company per the whispers. But in general the 50% and vagimony is such a crock of fucking shit, violating prenups(usually where prenups weren't done correctly but even many lawful ones), and catching up pre-marriage assets in the 50% split. For example, I'm pushing 1/4 mil at 31(could easily push to 1/2 mil if fortune favored me), there isn't a soul on this earth that can prove that the last 13 years of my life that I slaved away alone, for myself, should be stolen in any amount from me because I married a broad.

In my opinion, this case is as crazy as the others. If she has been involved in the company from the beginning like she has, why doesn't she own stocks of it? Didn't she want to take the risk? I assume she got a salary from her work at least, why does she need 50% then? Why not divide the company to all the early employees then?
If she is being paid for being his wife, does that make her a maid or a prostitute? What kind of maid or prostitute is worth around 60 billion?
