Okay, let's try a thought experiment: Suppose the positions were completely inverted and men had all the advantages, sympathy, unearned congratulations, unearned media attention, and support that women do today, right? Now further suppose we all saw the total hypocrisy of the situation. How many of us do you say would, freely and of our own volition, give up all those advantages?

That just isn't how humans function.
