You shouldn't do that. Pay enough in cash to bring a monthly payment to a low amount. Interest rates are pretty low on cars, so the cost is negligible.

By keeping a small monthly payment, you keep your credit rating high so that when you do need a loan, you're not paying through the nose. Also, you could bank that money for when you need it, or invest it.

Congrats man cash is king. It’s a very minimalist way to think. One less thing to be tied down to. I recently got a new vehicle and paid cash as well. Took me a couple of years but it’s all mine. My income varies a lot and I can’t have a payment and risk losing it because I had a slow month.
