Outside and out of country perspective here. I do not live in the US therefore have no skin in the game.

I would have bet my left testicle (my favourite one) the mortgage and both my kids that when that tape came out about him "grabbing pussies" and how women love it and how he can get away with it there would have been a revolt and that the 50% of the voting population comprised of women would have turned out en masse to ensure he wouldn't win in those supposedly politically correct times in 2016.

Boy was I ever fucking wrong..

What little respect I had for women as a whole plummeted and pushed me even farther to go my own way.. They are the biggest hypocrites and to your point they say they hate him but they will all vote for him again in 2020. All I can figure is they like assholes who give them the tingles. Perhaps the secret service code name for him is Chad Tyrone.

For what my opinion is worth, Dems are so divided and so far up their own asses catering to sjws and feminists, I got 100 bucks already down on Trump in 2020.

There are so many other reasons for a woman in her late twenties to disagree with Trump, I honestly don't think hitting the wall enters into it.

Climate denial, the escalating situation with Iran, cozying up with Putin, the leader of a country whose military conducted a multi pronged attack on our election, student loan debt, health care, are all topics which both men and women are concerned. That's not just a list of buzzwords, those are just some of the major topics being debated leading up to the democratic primaries.

Like I said, I enjoy this sub, I found it about three years ago when my ex started cheating on me after 10 years and i needed to understand what the hell happened. Spent two years in monk mode, learned a hell of a lot, and was able to set standards and improve myself. I dodge many women the old me would have jumped at the chance to date, seeing for the first time the red flags I'd missed in my marriage and all my other relationships going back almost 30 years.

Now I'm happily in a LTR with a woman who meets my standards, and for the first time in my life I'm not being taken advantage of. I still follow this sub because it keeps me grounded, and is a reminder to live life on my terms.

I come here to understand modern dating culture, to remind myself that as a man I have value, and to be sure as I rebuild my career I don't make the same mistakes I've made so many times. I was sold on MGTOW, found happiness and success on my own, and am a better, stronger person for it. In the end, I find I prefer having a woman in my life, but I am now comfortable with the fact I don't ever want children, and will never marry.

The political culture in the US is more complex and divisive than at any time in my life, and to pidgeon hole an entire demographic into a single aspect, no matter what side of the aisle you lean, seems very myopic to me. I would hate to a sub which has been so valuable to me turn into just another politics filled crapfest.
