Been watching a lot of House Hunters with the gf lately and it drives me up the fucking wall. Women are so quick to spend their mans money and show zero shame.

Him: “I’m a nuclear engineer” Her: “ I review La Croix flavors on YouTube part time” Him: “Our budget is 250k, looking for something not too big but not too small, newer build and practical” Her: “Haha that’s what he thinks. I’d say our budget is really 400k wink, wink lolz and I want a old colonial that requires a ton of renovations that I’m neither gonna physically perform or finance but I want a house with history and ‘charm’”.

Yeah, the married women almost always decide what house to buy. Reminds me of a married friend at work who said he would be fine in a small, humble house like mine, if he were single, but of course that wouldn't be okay with his wife. She wants all the fancy stuff. So he's 75 and working, because he's still got a big mortgage to pay off.

I went from a 5500 sq foot house to a 1100 sq foot condo after my divorce and I am happier than I have ever been. It’s mine. I picked everything in it. I come home to my dog that’s happy as hell, have a few early 20’s FWB’s I rotate in once a week or so and go to whatever restaurant I want for dinner. I can eat cereal for dinner work out at midnight if I want to. I don’t have to listen to a nagging wife. I have my kids 3 days a week and have a blast with them without a nagging hag in my ear. Life is so much better yet my still married couple friends act like I’ve lost everything

I am currently renovating a shed to live in so I can spend my money on rental properties to generate income. Going to have electric and internet, but no plumbing. Don't need it lol.
