regardless of the orientation of the door..

i don't even think she sunk in the hinges, atleast if a man has to fix it, there should only be screwholes to use filler on. (i do not see a router, or a chisel.. these where screwed on at best.)

God this reminds me of my ex wife. After spending 6 months and every penny refurbishing our first house, she constantly complained I didn’t allow her enough input. I gave her a 100 to go to the hardware store with the carpenter to find a nice brass 5 lever mortice lock for the front door as the finishing touch to the house. She managed to purchase an internal lock that had a opening handle both inside the house and outside. The carpenter obeyed and fixed it. It then cost me several hundred pound to have the lock removed the door repainted and the correct lock fitted.

I wonder if the door will even close. If the door was fit to the doorway, and the hinges were supposed to be sunk, then I bet the door won't quite close.
