Funny, We never see a group of women standing up for mens rights. Not in the streets protesting, not in the courts, not in our schools. I see a lot of men holding pro feminist signs and wearing pussy hats tho.

These women exist and call themselves “honey badgers“. Sadly, they are very rare...

Remember, you dont need the help of women, bring back the simps to the true men side. Women rely on simps in various positions in life to get away with their actions!

via historytoday: “Women might have had the vote on the same terms as men since 1929, but for most that was pretty well the limit of their equality: working women were paid much less than men and despite the responsibilities and sheer hard graft many had endured in wartime, were still regarded as submissive and inferior beings. Educational opportunities were limited. The 1944 Education Act was supposed to give everyone ‘parity of esteem’, but that is not how it worked out. Many teachers and parents had narrow expectations for girls whose destiny was to be marriage, a home and a family, with work just an interim measure between leaving school and walking down the aisle, rather than a career. Just 1.2 per cent of women went to university in the 1950s.” (Gardner)

But rosie the riverter was sacraficing too!!!
As if the only people who would let that fly wouldn't be the dudes who didnt know.
She needs more motivation to work a 9 to 5 than how many million men needed to literally die for the actually somehow real life version of the comically evil badguys. They fought fucking Nazi's lmao. Real ones. Not fucking braindead rednecks in jail cells or whatever Twitter considers Nazi now.
But yeah woo

The same amount of females allowed in nonclerical positions or recognized as veterans after serving in WWII.
[–]NohoTwoPointOh8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
You don't know your history that well, it seems. The WAAC ring a bell? They were both recognized and awarded.
Try again.
[–]Shin-Mega-Ten-3 points-2 points-1 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
They didn’t get the benefits of being veterans that men did. I’m no women over men gal, I just want people to be treated equally regardless of gender. Is that too much to ask for?
[–]ConstantChinner[S] 12 points13 points14 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
That was a HUGE mistake allowing women to vote.
[–]Shin-Mega-Ten-4 points-3 points-2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
In what way? How has our demographic model changed for the worse since women have gained the right to vote? How is giving your fellow human beings human rights and equality a mistake?
[–]ConstantChinner[S] 10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It is simple. Only net positive tax payers should vote. Simple as that.
[–]combatmonk9 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
That’s because voting was tied to military service. You must fight to defend what you choose. Now they have rights without responsibilities and send us to die for their stupidity. No thanks!

What's the point of this comment, seriously? How is this even SUPPOSED to be an argument? Are we still living in the 1910' or something?
[–]AugustusRome13 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
It’s 2019!!!! Not an argument! A lot of values from the past are very very valid today and have scientific basis in reality, not some current woke bullshit.
[–]novhaku-2 points-1 points0 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
True. I'll take some time for me to answer, I have to take care of my black slaves in my cotton fields. Good thing they didn't get more rights over time. (well to be fair all men are now the one working in metaphorical cotton fields, not just the black ones, so this didn't change THAT much I guess)
[–]AugustusRome14 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Well I would recommend for one, that you replace your outdated and very expensive farming equipment with something more modern such as a tractor. It’s true that we’re all on one big plantation where the elites use us as pawns. With every passing year society hates men more. Will be interesting to see what happens in my lifetime.
[–]novhaku2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Of course, it was just sarcasm because of the person I replied to using an outdated argument about women's rights as if nothing changed over time and women not having the right to vote 100 years ago still being an argument when it comes to CURRENT feminism.
To be fair I didn't think about the whole "slaves still existing but just in a different shape" at first because that's just too sad. The world only became even worse, in a way. But I blame individualism and throwaway society just as much as everything else; all of our "progress" worked together to create this ridiculous situation after all (feminism, consumerism making people treat social relationships just as their old TV ( https://www.fastcompany.com/3057089/our-disposable-culture-means-we-toss-relationships-as-quickly-as-we-throw-away-objects ) , social networks, etc.). A lot of things are to blame.
Well, I'm pretty sure it'll be interesting to us. It'll probably be hell for people on the plantation though, but it's not like if we didn't try to warn them most of the time.
[–]down_vote_militia6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The right to get discriminated against in the legal system. The right to have higher homelessness. The right to go to prison if you can't afford to support your children instead of being handed government aid. The right to be given longer sentences for committing the same crimes. The right to die more frequently on the job. The right to have worse health outcomes. The right be denied voting if you don't sign up to be drafted.
Stupid, spoiled bitch. I don't think there has ever been a more privileged group than current western women, and they still bitch and claim victim-hood.

Name one reproductive right men have.
None, but a pregnancy is a team effort. If you nut inside don’t tell me you’re not at fault she gets knocked up.

If its her body it's her responsibility, if it's his responsibility then it's his choice, drop your bullshit double standards. The fact that a woman can poke holes into a condom or lie about their ovulation to get pregnant and force the man to pay for it is ridiculous and is a clear sign that the laws are in favour of women.

Judge EVERYONE on their actions, words are worthless.
Having said that, you’ll find a much higher percentage of men actually back up what they say with action where women will use words to paint and hide their true behaviour and thoughts.

To quote a post I did earlier today but on a slightly old thread; https://www.reddit.com/r/MGTOW/comments/af2aw4/when_your_ex_is_a_narcissist_and_a_feminist/erzx82w/
It's not even a problem of "not doing anything" (well, there's that too but even without this, they are ridiculous). They ALL become tumblr feminists when they get the consequences from their irresponsible life thrown in their face. Some just wait a bit more than other before playing this card. But that's the only difference. When they'll to use it. That's it.

[–]gprime0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
This is definitely not true. There are and have been women who've actually worked to advance the rights and welfare of men, like Erin Pizzey. But it would be fair to say that the vast majority of women who reject feminism are not particularly concerned with men, and rather just embrace a different form of gynocentrism, like traditional conservatism.
[–]novhaku0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
Can you really call them feminists when they are vehemently rejected by their own kind to the point of being as hated as the men here?
The few ones that I can think about that actually care about men are often tradthots, so if you don't care about traditional vlue they'll still have a problem with you, and even when it comes to the other ones they are seen as people with "internalized misogny" and traitors.
Sure, there are some expections but it's the same as the AWALT rule; even if there is a 0,01 somewhere, it's not really worth mentioning because everyone is aware of it and it's cherry-picking when their numbers are so few. At this point I'm not ever sure they could even be feminists "in name only" since the meaning of this word has been corrupted to no end so they wouldn't even fit with the name.
[–]gprime2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I wasn't calling them feminists. I'd never insult decent and honorable women like Erin Pizzey by calling them something so horrible. The comment in the OP claims that there are women who speak critically of feminism but do nothing more. And I am saying that while that might fairly describe many women who don't identify as feminists (a majority in the US and the UK), it doesn't describe those rare women who deserve our admiration for going out of their way to help men. There's a big difference between a random woman who just doesn't call herself a feminist (the average American woman) and a woman who opens the first domestic violence shelter for men and pushes back against Duluth model bullshit (Pizzey).
The few ones that I can think about that actually care about men are often tradthots, so if you don't care about traditional vlue they'll still have a problem with you, and even when it comes to the other ones they are seen are people with "internalized misogny" and traitors.
You and I see things differently, because I've yet to see compelling evidence that tradcon women care about men beyond perceived utility to them. The lip service they pay is about positioning themselves in the dating market and little more.
[–]novhaku0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
We probably don't, what I meant is that they make it SEEM LIKE they care about them, chameleon-style, which is enough to fool some people, hence them being seen that way.
I agree with pretty much everything else.

Yeah right. So when are these feminists going to march in the streets to say end infant male mutilation like they march in the streets wearing pussy hats for unknown reasons?
[+][deleted] 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
[–]ConstantChinner[S] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Yeah nice try. Those are MEN protesting the mutilation, NOT female feminists. Again, show me the march with thousands or tens of thousands of FEMINISTS protesting infant male mutilation. Or the crooked family courts. Or equal reproductive rights for men.

ALL women support feminist policies whether they label themselves as feminist or not. If you TRULY cared about equality, you would be an MRA. Because females have more rights than males. Simple as that.
[+]Actual-Furry-6 points-5 points-4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You’re mistaken. Those women speak out against MODERN feminism. Misandrists, women who hate men, are the people they should be talking about. There is nothing wrong with feminism, women should be treated equal to men, men should be treated equal to women. It’s as simple as that.
Yes and no, it ultimately depends of what you call being treated as equal. Equal, yes, but if it means "equal absolute rights no matter the differences and the disadvantages a woman may have for, say, an employer", no.
The problem is that NOBODY among them want the first meaning. Just try to impose a contract forcing her never to get pregnant on a woman because it'd be a problem for the employer to replace her or to have her unable to do some tasks, a bother the employer wouldn't have with a male so a male would be an obvious better pick in a society not infected with feminism, etc, and the difference will be obvious very quickly because "my body, my choice" or whatever. Usually even from the ones that say that they don't want kids.
Or other countless variations of this idea, really.
So yes, thinking that equality is normal and should true is nice, and it would make us look like cool guys etc, whatever. It's ultimately something I'd approve, sure. But you have to be deluded to think that this is what these women are thinking about, even the non-feminists ones. And even if they seem fine with it they'll be the first ones to use their "privilege" card down the road.
There are a lot of things that are wrong with feminism, if only because what it seeks and its "basic rules" go against being really effective. A woman in the workplace isn't the same as a man in the workplace. Sure, she can work to, no problem with that, but wanting one to be "one of the guys" with no difference already means having a bias towards them. There are risks with women that you will not have with men, making them less appealing, and wanting to force their appeal is already special treatment.
