I hate to say it, but I’ve seen this happen multiple times with friends and relatives.Thank god Dutch family law usually considers a divorce settlement as final once an agreement has been made and signed off on. Women try and usually fail.

In the US a bitch can have the court revisit the settlement over and over and over again, and they do. In a constant state of attempting to renegotiate depending on the quality of their lives OR more often the improved quality of the mans life.

Well I was only talking about the divorce settlement. Alimony is renegotiable unfortunately, if you start to make more you can pay her more. Not an ideal situation either, but at least she can only take your assets once.

Actually briefly dated a recently divorced chick once. She told me he didn't even want the house so she kept it.
Then i saw the house. Really nice on the outside, and still solid. However, all the flooring was old, appliances were outdated. And turned up it was still upside down in the loan, and more then she could afford on her salary.
The guy apparently just went and got a small cheap apartment. Well played sir lol
