That does not reflect how bad things are.

Take the divorce rape rate PLUS the palimony rate. That is not at a 40 year low not even close.

The ones that do still marry. Are probably to a significant extend the ones that find it very important to marry, due to religion believes. They (as a group) were less prone to divorce soon or after a few years, then the average.
