One of my favorites was a woman I had talked to for a few months, felt a connection with, and travelled a few hours to see. I had paid for some meals which was no problem, and then she wanted to see a movie. She gets online to buy the tickets and repeatedly pretends that her credit card doesn’t work. So we went to the box office and I let her buy her own ticket. The funny thing we were both making 50k+ and if her greedy short sighted brain was in any way thinking, she would have just paid the $30. Instead, she shows me exactly what she was about and I didn’t come back.

I absolutely refuse to pay.... especially on the first few dates. 50/50 or she can fuck off. If I start dating a woman, I am completely fine doing nice and romantic things for her..as long as she does the same for me. I haven't been on a date for years, but if I did I decided I would invite her for something that doesn't cost money. If she were interested, she would accept and figure out it's a way to talk and get to know each other. If instead she suggests something that costs money, society still expects men to pay (see above) and this mean she's after money and 'gifts'. I'd decline.
