The best lesson in GOT is Ser Jorah Mormont - don't be him. He is a classic career beta, a walking blue pill example. He sold slaves and lost his honour to buy expensive gifts for his ex wife, then she left him for another man. Then he pedestalised Daenarys, and she fucked the nearest alpha (Daario) right under his nose. He is her beta orbiter and she uses him as an emotional tampon. He gets into fights and risks his life for her and she doesn't even give the chump a hug. She even banished him and he crawled back to her (going through the trash). I am surprised that he is not a blue pill icon. The lesson is - do not be a beta cuck like Jorah Mormont.

Hahaha, I love that line from Littlefinger. Todays allies/friends can be tomorrows enemies and vice versa. A concept most people have trouble with. Once they put someone in a category they have trouble seeing them in the other. People are reluctant to consider that their "best" friends can betray them or that their worst enemies can be turned into friends.

Good post. GoT may be filled with tons of SJW propaganda, but G.R.R.M. knows enough history that he has to tell the truth about humanity, even if indirectly. I'm crossing my fingers that he doesn't end it with some Marxist-historical revisionism that the best societies are matriarchal (which is where he's going - we now have 3 acting Queens, since John Targaryean/Stark is gonna go recon with the Man Squad).

Dope show regardless and very good lessons, even passively. You can learn from bloops in what not to do. Or just pretend the women who are being awesome are men. Cersei telling Jamie how to be a man, for instance. Randal and Dickon were studs in the last episode.

As a big fan of the show and the books I am glad that someone has been able to incorporate this into TRP. Nonetheless it was an excellent read! Keep it up.

I don't understand why Ned Stark wouldn't just admit Joffrey was the rightful heir, get himself sent up North to The Night's Watch, and then just abandon the trip once he was far enough north to rally the entire North's bannerman to his cause to overthrow Joffrey.

Ned Stark is an example of the BP. He believed in silly notions such as 'honor' and 'integrity' where as the more cut-throat RP players in the Game of Thrones knew better. A BP man would die for 'ideals' whereas a RP man would do everything he could to tilt the game in his favor to achieve their goals.

A RP man would have realized that admitting Joffrey is the heir means nothing if it gave Ned the chance to go back north and rally a rebel army. If Ned died, Joffrey would've had no one to oppose him regardless and his reign would be uncontested (at least until Rob Stark raised a rebel army).
