This is a good place to vent, just acknowledge the total shit position men are in when compared to women and then realise that women still are being viewed as opressed and men as the opressor. And then realise that because of this you are actually worth something in general simply because you are a men who had to work for everything instead of getting by on looks. I kind of view it like men always carrying around a 100 KG backpack. This makes them in general way stronger then their female counterpart since they are always carrying extra weight. In turn they learn what hardwork is, what suffering is, what being isolated is and not being cared about is, what it is like that nobody really cares about your issues and that it is even regarded as a turn off, and meanwhile you still in general are happier then most women since men simply can be happy without to much hassle (its in general women that cause the biggest unhappiness in a man's life, some argue also the greates happiness but then again if you could take a drug which will either make you happy 50% of the time or deeply depressed 50% of the time why would you take it?). So just be glad you are a guy, because it actually means that everything you acomplish (even if it is simply geting out of bed in the morning) is a victory and earned, not something given to you simply because you are the right sex.

And as soon as you realise this you will pity women, and you will laugh at them, and you will slowly but surely become indifferent. This does not mean that you cannot get annoyed or angry at them (sometimes this is rightfully so), but you will realise that do not have any power over you, so you can flow freely to life doing what you want.

But being attractive is better then not being attractive, just be glad you are not divorced raped or dead from suicide.

Take what you currently have and use it to get to a good spot where nobody can mess with you.

I was in a local community theater group for a two productions. In my first production, there was a girl that was notorious for trying to get with just about every guy on the cast. I talked to some friends that had been in the group longer than me, and they confirmed my suspicion of her history. We all had a great time laughing as we watched her try to make the rounds. Her favorite line was, "oh my gosh, you have such pretty eyes!" To everyone. An important thing to point out is that this girl was 14 at the time, and the daughter of one of the founding families of the theater group that sort of acted like a board of directors.

I had a fun enough experience with the first show that I decided to try the next one they did. This one was much smaller, and called for a cast no younger than 16. I was excited at the prospect of a completely different stage atmosphere than 30 kids
under the age of 12 running around(we had previously done Peter Pan), and hearing that this girl couldn't audition was the cherry on top. Well both of her parents were in this one, so she still ending up going to a lot of the rehearsals. I made it clear to both her and her parents from day 1 that I wasn't having any of her shit, and she left me be.

Turns out I was right to be wary, as she initiated a sexual relationship with a 50 year old married father of 3 in all of the rehearsal time we had. Apparently they banged it out on the catwalk above the audience during one of our matinee shows.

I remember once when I was on the swim team. I can’t remember exactly but I must have been 12-13 or so.

The varsity had made state, and so the whole team went out to color our hair in support, with the team colors.

When it was my turn, I sat in the chair and the lady draped that cape over me and got started. I had my arms on the arm rest with my hands draping over the front. She kept bumping into my hand. I thought it was an accident at first. But it continued and after awhile she was grinding her crotch on my hand essentially. Weird stuff. I won’t say I felt assaulted, which I suppose I was technically. I just felt really odd about it and didn’t know what to say or do. I didn’t have a clue about that sort of thing at that age, I was really naive.

That was over 20 years ago now.

Before I started working at the site I'm at now, I used to do security for a mall and the chicks working at Pretzel Maker used to always wolf whistle at me literally EVERY time I walked by (which was multiple times a day, and so loudly that everyone in the food court would stop and stare at me like wtf). It was VERY annoying. Whenever I looked over at them, they would just giggle and bat their eyelashes... I thought that if I just ignored them it would eventually stop, but it never did. Glad I found work elsewhere.
