I just had to create this throwaway account and post a sincere "thank you" to all of you here for opening my eyes. I have been romantically involved with a very violent woman, both physically and emotionally, and reading through many of your experiencies gave me the courage to finally stand up to her and leave our house, and stop believing my life is over unless a woman is by my side.
