I went on a cruise vacation with a group of women as the only guy in a flimsy democracy , lots of bickering, lots of unnecessary complaining and ability to leave the issues that were at home ...at home, lots of need for attention and self - seeking .

The next year I decided to take a similar cruise alone . My biggest concern was not hitting my max daily drink limit, eating every delicious food item on the menu , and deciding just how late I wanted to go back to my room ( usually some time between the club closing down and the breakfast crew getting breakfast ready).

The baggage I dropped for that second trip was the group of women.

Traveling with women is the worst. You see half as much in twice the time, & they just go around posing everywhere, looking like a fool. For them the entire thing is about inspiring jealousy in someone

When I was married I had a strict rule about packing for trips. You pack it you carry it. It really pissed her off but I wouldn't budge. Never carried her luggage anywhere. I always laughed inside while she struggled with it

It's absolutely true.

Ditch the "baggage" (i.e. the female) and you won't have ANY "fighting" and a lot fewer other problems or hassles on ANY trip... local, cross country, international, whatever.

I can see some validity in this article. Some. I’ve been on a handful of trips with my wife. Once we went to Sandals and all we brought were a couple swim suits and some lounge stuff. Took a few mins to get ready for whatever we were doing and there wasn’t a ton of debate about what looks good with what. Bags were carry on so the airport didn’t lose our shit and didn’t spend an unnecessary amount of time packing up.

Literally had an argument once and I asked her why she was doing this especially when we only have a few days on this holiday left. Her reply “because things were going too well and she was suspicious.” I literally laughed couldn’t believe it!
