Try to not carry debt on a credit card. Some purchases like emergency repairs or plane tickets for a funeral can't be avoided. Try to pay those down asap when they happen

Look up 'passive income' and start striving for it

If you're one of those 'just gotta fuck' kind of guys, a life-sized sex doll is under $2k now.

Lose the douche flute. It's not cool. It's just smoking with a battery involved.

get out of urban areas.. try to learn skills and collect tools. get a remote hunk of land with some reliable way to acquire water, Start learning to grow yummy things.

These are things I wish my Father or Grandfather had been able to tell me fifty years ago.

Improve your physical fitness. Build some strength and stamina.

Control what you eat. Exercise and Lift.

Take good care of your teeth now. If you don't it will cost you a lot when you're older.

Wear eye protection and hearing protection. Once they're gone, they don't come back.

Make a budget and learn to live within it.

Your budget includes a Savings plan.

Now budget your time. Control how much time is wasted on junk.

Set goals, both short term and long term. Every day, do something that works towards one of those goals.

Learn how to study. There are methods and discipline to doing it well.

Build your skill set. Build multiple skills.

Choose your friends carefully. Choose people who are good for you.

Don't be afraid to let go of Toxic people.

Your mama doesn't care what you want, she wants grandchildren, no matter what it costs you.

Figure out what YOU are passionate about. Pursue. If you can find a way to make money with your passion, you will find real contentment in your life.
Grass isn't greener on the other side of the fence. I laugh at the type of people that endlessly chase money and / or pussy. If you can find what YOU want in life, you stop caring altogether what others have.
There is no altruism or selflessness in this world. If it doesn't benefit YOU (not those around you, YOU), ruthlessly cut it from your life.

Don't take things in life to seriously.

Feeling like my honor has been attacked caused me more problems in my youth than I care to admit. Now that I'm older I just don't give a shit. Life is more fun and it really bugs people who are attacking you that way if you just don't care. Drives the people crazy when you just don't care one way or the other.
