This is my second post here on this sub so bare with me. I should have made this post when it happened but it's occurring to me now from a personal experience better to make it now then never. I've been practicing TRP for the last 6 months. I'm not going to go into how I found out about it but I will say I am a reformed nice guy, orbiter, whiteknight etc. you name it and still a virgin but I will most likely lose it soon.

Over the course of the last 6 months I have read the sidebar, have read a few books and basically got a slap in the face to wake me up and finally become a fucking man. I cut out the excessive masturbation, the video games, the porn, and netlifx/ TV. I replaced it with studying, joining a gym, reading books, and some hobbies which include playing the drums, woodworking, cooking, baking (I don't care I like making brownies), and some others.

I completely revamped my wardrobe and threw out most of the stupid gamer shirts, old sneakers and jeans that didn't fit me and spent some money and invested in better fitting, quality, and looking clothes. I get my hair cut every two weeks now and have an actual hair style. Because my hair is curly I go with a high fade of back and sides and leave the top long to show off my curls. Women have complimented me on it. I also invested in a beard trimmer and some beard oil to keep it looking healthy and clean.

So over the course of these 6 months I haven't seen some of my cousins. They live in Florida and only come up a few times a year. 2 of my cousins are 21 and 24. They're also very good looking which means most likely they've been on the carousel.

So back in August we had a family reunion and they were there. The last time they saw me was Christmas of 2016 and I found TRP in March so they were not expecting me to look or act of a certain way. My aunt has a pool so naturally I am shirtless because I was swimming. I see them and they come up to me and greet me and the first thing out of my 21 year old cousins mouth is not "hey Rudey I havent seen you in so long how are you doing?" Nope it's Ew why do you have muscles? You look so weird. Since when have you been going to the gym. I tell her for a few months. She responds I liked you better when you were skinny. You look to weird for me now. And what is it with the beard? You should shave it. You look better with a clean face. I simply tell her some women I know like it and don't mind.

My own family member is now berating me because I decided to start bettering myself. This eventually dies down until we have dinner. Then my 24 year old cousin starts on me. So rudey, I see you've been going to the gym. You look pretty good. But seriously, I know you're trying to make up for your lack of height but it looks kind of desperate. I'm 5'4 and no I can't change my height but I can change other attributes of myself. Would you rather be short and skinny/fat or short and muscular and fit?

After dinner we're sitting around bullshitting about college and what not. Since I just got done with my freshman year they want to know how it went. Mind you I found TRP in March, so most of my first semester I was still BP and had caught a serious oneitis in January. 21 goes to me So how did your first year go? You like it? I responded accordingly and then she pushed the issue. So are the girls on campus any good looking? I responded again accordingly and told her yes there's some very good looking women on campus. Then the guilt trips begin. Well if you're ever going to get a girlfriend or even have one interested in you you should cut back on working out. Girls don't like muscular guys. You should also shave the beard as it makes you look TOO manly. Why did you change in the first place? You were fine the way you are. Oh the irony in her statements. I simply wanted to lay into her and give examples proving her wrong but I knew she would never admit it. Her hamster was going trying to justify why SHE didn't like beards and muscular guys.

This is the core of it. You were fine the way you are. Yes yes I was fine the way I was. The short, braceface, dirty, unkept, looking guy who treated girls with absolute respect and put them on a throne and in return got what? My hand on my cock while she's swallowing Chad's cum. Ever since I started improving myself the IOI's have been increasing and my cousins don't like it. They can ride the Carousel and get a train ran on them but the minute I start to break out of my "niceguy" betaness they try to push me back in and start questioning me and they don't like it one bit.

Even family can get in the way sometimes. They don't want to see you grow up and change. They want you to stay the same as you were. The cute little kid who couldn't even get a woman to look at him.

They will be forced to get used to it as will the rest of my family. It doesn't help that i'm the youngest one so they all see me as the baby. Now they're trying to keep me locked up. The more they try to hold me back the more I push forward. They don't like it and they don't have to. It's their problem not mine. It's my life i'm going to do what I want with it. I know the mantra behind getting tattoos. I still want them. Nothing above the neck, and nothing past the wrists for future jobs. I still get shit for it because "You shouldn't ruin your body like that! You won't be the same rudey we all know and love." I don't WANT to be the same person. You taught me to put women on a pedestal and bend over for them. And then you wonder why no women have said yes when I've asked them out. I'm sure height has something to do with it, but it's not the end. It's how you act towards them and if your game is on point.

Let it be known, family can get in the way sometimes. They don't like to see you change. They will have to either accept who you want to be and "love" you for who you are or they will cut you out because your views and morals aren't like theirs. Granted there's some leeway there. If you're doing drugs or anything illegal I can see that but getting angry at me because i'm trying to become a better man? LOL get out of here with that bullshit.
