Oh yes, every week someone would complain about the teacher being a cunt about that and they'd be sent to the principal.
A math teacher was once yelling and calling all of us idiots for not being able to solve a problem on the board, so I gave a random answer and she said "About fucking time! I knew that from the start" but it was the wrong answer. I didn't even plan for her to embarrass herself like that.
She realized she made a fool of herself and I almost got expelled for it.

That and repeating whatever the teacher said. Way too many teachers had tests where they tested you on whether you memorized the phrases rather than knew the material. You could know the material but not understand the question because it was unclear if you didn't remember that specific phrase from the book or the lecture.
