I'm a former sheepdog that no longer cares about the stupid sheep and will gladly let the wolves rip out their throats.

I wouldn’t use Tinder as the example, at least with Tinder it initiates real-life physical relationships, and both genders have a right to enjoy sex and physical connection.
The comparison I use is Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat or any other digital platform that gives women emotional validation*without * a real relationship. That’s what porn does to the male brain, it let’s our brain believe we’re having sex, when we actually aren’t. The social platforms give women (and men) a way to feel like they are in a relationship without being in an actual relationship that has real life tradeoffs to navigate.
Which goes right back to the porn comparison...”I can have whatever kind of sexual fantasy I want right now.” You can, but it’s not realistic to expect that in real life. Women shouldn’t expect constant validation and attention either, but that’s the fantasy, and the digital platform’s deliver a pretty convincing substitute for reality.

Apps like Tinder are definitely making sure that the good looking have lots of prospects and everybody else gets shit. All dating apps are going that way though. Look at the picture, say yes or no. I've realized why it's so negative for relationships. It causes you to realize how little your spouse/gf thinks of you. If she's not willing to submit to you in the bedroom in the same way an average porn star is, you're a fall back guy. I'm not taking about brutal hate fuck type content, just for average "how do you want it?" type of submission.
This is the equality of the genders to me. If I willingly get up every day and go to work to pay the bills, and be a sole provider, and you're unwilling to perform in the bedroom? Where's the equal submission? Sitting at home watching Netflix or instagram videos with the kids is not "work". Most women these days think house chores and cooking are slavery or beneath them as well.
Porn in my eyes, after cutting it out of my life for 2 months, has made me see it for what it is. Is it addictive? Sure, anything that affects our brain chemistry has the propensity to cause addictive behaviour. But saying drugs are bad because they're addictive is failing to address the point. Why do people turn to their addictions on a regular basis? Because their personal life is lacking something, most often the thing lacking is love. Drugs, porn, video games, they're all just coping mechanisms to ignore the reality that they're in a relationship with someone that doesnt love them.
If your brother got wrapped up in drug addiction, would you let him waste his life? Or would you reach out to him, and be there for him to show him that you love him? Most women think nagging is the way to solve the problem. Men think love, honesty, accountability, encouragement and so on are the way to help loved ones.
