Not just mass shooters, also serial killers, most come from a single mother household. The stats for children raised by single mothers is not pretty, majority of kids who end up as prostitutes, on drugs, dropping out of high school, in prison all come from single mother households.

Single mother households are a menace to society, one fully backed by our federal and local governments.

We're natural beings living in an unnatural world. From the food we eat to the system we raise our children in. It surprises me that this doesnt happen more often, although it seems its slowly rolling into that direction. Im not saying i want it to head in said direction, i really wish we could live in a perfect world but id be wasting my time dreaming.

The statstics point out that alot of troubled childeren and adults are raised by single mothers, alot of the prison population, of the mental health cases, and indeed school shooters and sociopaths/psychopaths. To be fair this could be a correlation instead of causation, for example these people end up this way because the trauma of their dad leaving/dying that single mothers do not stand a chance, or that the genes provided by parents who end spliting up in general genes which tend to create more troubled childeren. These last two examples however seem way mor unlikely then the simple fact that it is hard to raise a child on your own, and that a child needs both male and female examples daily in the progsess of being raised propperly. A mother, how much effort she might put in, in most cases just is not enough, especially when it comes to raising men.

In a few liberal places online reeeeeeeeeeeeing about gun control I suggested we also consider the major factor of prescription drugs combined with being raised by single mothers....as that also seems to be a constant with these shooters.

Single moms? No, that can't be it. We'll just blame the absentee fathers and toxic masculinity. It'll just be flipped to make men look bad. There is no winning.

As a side note, I want to point out that it isn't necessarily "single moms" that are what's breaking the system, but rather "broken families." In the cases where the father is still in these shooters' lives, you see physical abuse. Every. Single. Time.

There need to be IQ and EQ tests administered to hopeful parents, birth control needs to be the standard, and there should be parental standards. If you need certirications to work on automobilies or as a welder, you almost certainly need one to be a parent. Wielding such power and influence over another (very impressionable) human being is something very few people have experience with outside of being parents. Most people aren't managing others on a day to day basis. There should be a hell of a lot of prep work that goes into having a child, but we just treat them like a hot commodity.

That's why these kids are so fucked up. I don't want to stop the single mother hate train because that's a pretty futile effort in this sub, but I do want to provide a nuanced opinion. Children above all else need a loving and stable environment in which to grow. You take that away, the rest is just minor details. SSRIs, bullying issues, problems with girls, all of that is a footnote compared to the family issue.

if you were intoxicated this makes it worse not better, this is opposite for women.

It doesn't matter what the reason is, they consider it an excuse. If you're female, it's a reason, not an excuse.

Counter point, is it because single moms cant raise kids or is it because she has mental illness to where she cant mantain a stable relationship. Then that mental illness is passed onto there kids.

Im saying that because genetic autosomal differences should be the same for men and woman, ie mental illness caused by genes should be the same between men and woman. Any difference in rate would be due entirely to how single women raise there kids vs men. That is a number I'd LOVE to know.

This claim obviously has not been fact checked at all. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris both had intact families as did Cho, whereas Mateen was raised by his father. I haven’t gone through the rest, but the claim is clearly bullshit.
