This takes some humility and research, but I did this and I'm not exaggerating: go to an AA meeting and, mentally, replace "alcohol" with "women." Note the steps (you can replace "god" with "higher self" if you need), listen to the stories and no, you don't gotta stop drinking (unless it's a problem, in which case that's a different issue).

You are post-addiction, with zero support. Imagine if society had billboards, apps and entire cultures surrounded around introducing junkies to drugs. That's where you are. You gotta detox and posting this is a great first step.

I dont understand this thing. Maybe I sound ignorant for asking this but : dont you people have families, Relatives, great parents, awesome friends etc? It seems to me that companionship in the west means females and nothing else.

I cannot tell you what that something is. Look back to your past, and see where you found yourself to be fulfilled - even if briefly. That should put you on the right path.

The flaw of man is to assume that this "purpose" is to please a woman. That's the trap many men fall into. From experience I can tell you it's not very rewarding if not reciprocated. In most cases these days, eventually, it won't be.

I have never been depressed, but I have felt severely down for short periods of time. For me it's usually caused by not having anything to look forward to. When I have something to look forward to, I rarely feel down. I mainly look forward to future technologies, such as AI companionship and everything Elon Musk is doing. I believe you just need to find what you're interested in, and engage with it. It can be movies, tv series, music, geocaching, traveling, chess, cars, anything. You might feel like nothing can make your life meaningful anymore, but I think you just haven't found something that gives you the reason to look forward to the next day. MGTOW has helped cured my loneliness, although the process started years ago. I no longer miss external validation. I feel blue once in a while but self-validating and accepting myself for what I am has stopped the feelings of emptiness and loneliness.

I think you should let go of your desires. They are traps. Find meaning in work and take satisfaction in your comfortable life. Save money if you aren't already. But don't for a second think that there is a woman you need to complete you. Maybe you will choose at some point to pursue a relationship but that should never change the fact you are an individual with value outside of that relationship.

Give it time. You haven't really started your life journey. The period of your life now is closure akin to realizing a direction and goal you desired is now off limits and your world revolves around this closed door.

In time there will be more doors. More goals. More things you want from life before you die. That's the essence of being alive. Reaching for something and generating more interest in your investment.

I've been alone strategically for over 20 years. The first two years were the worst. All I thought about was the missing old lady. Then time went on and I thought about other things. My desire for other things became apparent. I wanted to get a degree. I wanted to land a well paid job. I wanted a luxury car. I wanted a house. I wanted sex dolls. I wanted other toys. I wanted X, Y and Z and obtained those things.

Even now approaching old age I want for things. To catch fights on DAZN or ESPN when they pop up. To prowl the internet. To catch the last season of GoT. Obviously to catch up on events here. Then the plethora of content in the video game space. Sekiro launches two weeks from now.

What I don't want for is more relationships. The content cycle I have now is never-ending. I lack hours in the day to get a hold of everything I actually want to see and hear. That to me as a single man is mission accomplished.
