My opinion is that while we are not inherently part of any political leanings, the current climate in western society has largely injected politics into virtually all of life. You have feminists and SJWs who must, MUST be in absolute control of everyone else they scream from the rooftops about oppression because they're snowflakes who grew up in an everyone gets a trophy world, devoid of any responsibility -and they're hitting an age where reality kicks in and they suddenly have to deal with consequences.

Those people largely populate "the left" or "liberals" (meaning, current day definition of liberals). They cannot stand for people to have an opinion that's different from theirs, because just like everything else in their lives, if you shatter their little entitlement bubble, you're literally satan.

So what do they do? They hate everything that is truth, reality, or anything that even so much as has a hint of damaging their fragile fantasy of what life is.

As another guy here pointed out, we speak the truth here. This place is about not playing into the lies and veiled illusions of society. We aren't necessarily all conservatives, but we damned sure aren't part of the insane SJW/feminist/lgtbbq's that inhabit the left, as evidenced by the unbridled hatred they have for us.

They all want something for free, they want their participation trophies, they want their warped sense of reality to be real, and if you give them any data that suggests they're living in fantasy land, the cognitive dissonance demands that they must attack it.

Because I'm destroys the illusions they've been told all their lives. They hate seeing slaves run off the plantation because many other slaves have told themselves that picking cotton is a deal come true, and the slaves owners hate it because they think they are too good to pick their own cotton, and don't want to be forced to value their slaves as people instead of property. Really, they can't. Men have traditionally been conditioned to believe that their value is attained from personal sacrifices for the greater good.

Because of things like AWALT and the fact that a lot of mgtow think poorly of women. No one likes being told that they're worthless and inferior and can't change. I know mgtow as a philosophy doesn't say anything against women, but looking at the kind of material that gets upvoted on this sub, it's clear where most users stand.

It seems that on most subs, people hate MGTOW and any user associated with posting or commenting there. I feel ostracized just for having an opinion. Which is odd because if you talk about MGTOW beliefs without mentioning the name people usually agree.

Yup, their opinions have been shaped by what media and opposition have told them. They haven't done their own research, and just assume that what they have been told is the truth.

Same thing happens in politics and religion all the time.

People love to always state how none of us are really going out of our way because we talk about women, but if we are going to work out our beliefs wouldn't it be fair for us to discuss them occasionally?

We talk about women for the same reason feminist talk about men, alcoholics talk about beer, and rape survivors talk about rape. NONE of them like the topic, but discussing it is what helps them understand how to deal/avoid relapse.

No different here, but somehow were the bad guys because 1) We're guys and 2) the thing we're trying to avoid is relationships with women, which means we're sexist... somehow...

Not all of us are charming fellows. I for one stir the pot. They hate us because we live in a gynocentric society where women are praised. Deciding to and telling other men not to give their money to women is like being a nazi to them. They also hate it when we share news and stories which show how evil and unhuman women can be. Tradcons are trying to stomp us out before we gain popularity and become mainstream... I'm not sure what tradcons gain from doing this, but they are dead set on setting MGTOW on fire and finding something to mock us over.

MGTOW isn't some peaceful movement. It's war. The trads and the women know that if men wise up and spend their time and money on themselves only, there won't be any left for them. They also don't like the idea that real men, cis guys, would chose not to be with them, that the deal is that bad. They hate that more than anything, so they call us gay and hope we admit to liking men. At least then, MGTOW was due to no fault of their own. They hate blame and responsibility, they can't mentally handle it. They'll do anything, say anything, and paint anybody as the scapegoat, in order to defer responsibility onto another party.

A lot of mgtow come from having real life experiences with females and after giving their all to a one sided relationship that always ends up with the man being somewhat destroyed financially and emotionally as the female monkey branched to the next simp with no remorse. The man who uses logic and rational thinking wants to know and understand why this happend so he finds mgtow, a collection of men that all come across the same parallels within a relationship with women thus share truth and knowledge about female nature and their parasitic ways. Exposing such truths will undoubtedly lead to hate and resentment as their free ride comes to a crashing halt.
