There are multiple reasons why few men openly discuss this:

Gynocentric society. Speaking out against what is socially accepted can carry consequences and loss of social standing. While less important to men then it is to women, it can spiral into loss of job, friends, etc. This is why ghosting is favored among MGTOW, and why most of us value anonymity when we speak among ourselves.
External validation ingrained, possibly even instinctual. Without a woman, what use is a man to this world? We MGTOW answer this with "whatever we find worthy", but this answer isn't available to most. When your supposed reason for being is at risk, you tend to reject that what puts it at risk.
Herd mentality and safety therein. Our way of life is solitary and individualistic by design. This does not draw people with a strong desire to be part of a group. And no, do not confuse a wish to belong with weakness. It's just a state of being.

But men are already protesting in their own way. Pussy Pass Denied seems to become more and more frequent. Marriage rates are not even in the toilet anymore, but have been flushed into the sewer and are halfway to the treatment plant by now, and they'll only plummet further as third wave feminism drifts into their late thirties, ready to "settle down". Yea, that ship will have sailed 10 to 20 years ago... And we see more and more how equality of responsibilities is forced along with equality of rights. The draft, Google factchecking their wage gap and finding it to be present, but the reverse of what was assumed... Yea, reality is knocking. Men may not all call themselves MGTOW, but the red pills are gobbled down left and right. And I call that a win for men, and a slim chance at recovery for western society.

A man’s mind is all about ideals. Ideals are essentially goals, purposes, things to work towards and things to attain.

When it turns out some of these ideals are absolute falsehoods, the younger man will reject this… and this is the final essence of childhood rebellion still in place.

As a man grow older, he can either cling to the false ideals, or learn let go of them… be lost for a while trying to find new purpose, a new ideal, a new goal.

The “lost” point is very lonely, anxious, and disconnected from everything else.

But if you don’t take that gamble, you have no chance of growing.

Most if not all ideals are plagued with problems, and yesterday’s “perfect” is today’s “antique.”

What exists on the far end of the other side is absolute nihilism, the utter absence of ideals. Some choose to go this route, but that’s a rather bleak dead end road itself.

So, what do we do? We have to navigate “the uncomfortable,” that road where ideals aren’t perfect, but we must keep tending to the ideals to keep moving forward.

The ultimate man lives, eats, breathes, survives, and thrives here, but it’s completely uncomfortable and counterintuitive on every level.

But it’s the truest path.

I've thought about this. It is men who are cow-towing to the feminists and changing the laws. Men are doing to other men on behalf of feminists. The CIA is a long-time supporter of feminism - why? The powers-that-be have a grand plan. What could it be? Not sure, but one step seems to be to snip off the balls of the average man -- to make him cower and fear the mere allegation of something -- a valid fear as a mere allegation can put you in prison, have you fired, have your professional licence taken away, have you kicked out of university, etc. So, this underlying fear stops men from speaking out. I have had people, all women, say to me point blank, "If you say anything more about men's rights, I won't talk to you any longer," because to them Men's Rights is another way of saying Hatred Of Women. I've also had full grown men go on some crazed self-hating rants about how males are toxic and women oppressed etc. So, imagine walking the street protesting the unfair treatment of men and your boss spotting you on TV -- fired. But, also, as a man, I'm not really interested in protesting, hitting the streets and trying to educate people. Waste of my time. I'd rather do something far less pro-active. I'd rather just stop helping women. Stop holding the door for them, stop carrying stuff for them, stop changing their tires, oil, etc. on their cars, stop doing business with them, stop fixing their dripping pipe -- if all men refused collectively to stop doing everything for women and let them do it themselves... oh, change would happen fast. So, men have started by saying 'No' to marriage. Now men are also saying 'No' to dating. Now men are starting to say 'No' to sex. Marriage, dating, and sex are the three main powers that women have. Take those away, and what is left? Nothing, unless they are skilled in cooking and cleaning, but I'm quite good at both of those, so... yeah, pretty much nothing.

I think you hit on a very salient point.

Men have an affinity for statistics of all kinds: sports stats (yards per carry, free throw percentage, shots on goal, etc.), automotive stats (horsepower, torque, 0-60 times, etc.), economic stats (GDP, Dow Jones Industrial Average, GINI), and so on. They love looking them up, comparing them, discussing them, and using them.

Except when it comes to women and dating. With this, men are blind to the statistics and don't care.

Women are the exact opposite. They really don't care about statistics when it comes to who they like in sports, or care about performance metrics when it comes to cars, or care about any kind of statistics.

Except when it comes to men and dating. Then these women become cold, calculating monsters. "If he's this tall, and weighs this much, he can't have six pack abs" or "Well, yes he makes 120,000/yr, but at his age, with his industry, he should be making at least twice that...hard swipe the scrub" or "The word choices in his blurb indicate a high probability of psychopathy...best to keep away" or "This guy hardly has any friends on his profile...the probability he's hiding something is high."

This is universally true for every human being; we avoid pain, and seek pleasure.

They see the blue pill as pleasurable, and the red pill is painful, why the hell would you give up something pleasurable for pain? It makes so sense, so of course you'll fight people who bring you pain.

The only way they'll be open to the red pill is if the pain of the red pill will become less painful than the blue pill, so in comparison, blue pill will become the pain and red pill will become the pleasure they're seeking.

In other words, it's IMPOSSIBLE for them to be open to all this stuff until they've experienced so much fucking trauma and humiliation and hurt that the red pill will make life so much easier for them. Either that.. or they'll be so far gone than once their blue pilled fantasies have been proven to be false, they'll see nothing nothing else and suicide will be the only option.

Taking sex out of the equation, the reason why men still are superb assholes to eachother is because there's no more social unity amongst men.

At work, your colleagues are often your rivals for better positions or nuisances that fuck with your work.

In private, socializing with men for no other reason then socializing is seen as gay and emasculating.

Being empathetic in general to men is not as socially acceptable as rendering some generic "pull yourself up by your bootstraps speech.

And being empathetic in general is not considered manly. You are meant to dominate and lead your surroundings, not cooperate in them.

So yeah, not really surprising.

It's hard to unplug because when you do all you have is yourself, unless your lucky enough to have friends who are also unplugged because try hanging with simps or cucks, all their convos revolve around their sarlacc pit and their new desperate scheme to re-explore the caverns.

Once you get used to being alone and understand how to take care of yourself, it's the best thing in the world.
