My story is quite long and boring and full of mistakes, so I will just list what are the Pros and Cons of my marriage right now and you all just advice me on the better course to take. I'm 33 and she's 32.

PROS: she's got a great personality, is loyal and have a good career. Our marriage allows me to have better finances overall right now and reach retirement in 20 years or less.

CONS: her family comes first, then her, then me (meaning that I feel I'm a guest in my own house since she took her single-mother sister in, along with her son. The last straw was today, when I discovered said sister is throwing a party in my own house and neither of them bothered to ask me permission or even tell me first). Her father is a drug addict, doesn't work and routinely causes all sorts of problems for us, but she won't cut ties with him. She's fat, diabetic, has thyroid deficiency and won't eat healthy or exercise. Our jobs force us to live in different cities. When we meet sex is non-existent. When I'm really horny I feel like I'm forcing her to do it and although I know she's having pleasure I can't shake the feeling that she's doing it out of pity or something. Since she's not attractive to my eyes anymore, I mostly jerk off.

So, all in all, I already decided to divorce her. But right now I'm financially vulnerable. I live in Brazil and I'm what you would call a public servitor. We must be employed 3 full years before acquiring what we call "stability". That means that before I'm stable I can be fired like any regular private employee, for any reason, but after that I can only be fired if I commit a major crime. It's a guaranteed job for life, protected by our Constituition. Also, and this is the real reason I'm asking for advice here, in 15 months I will get stability and once I get it my pay-check will double immediatelly and then double again every 3 years until I hit the pay-ceiling. What this all means is that if I divorce now, my finances will take a huge hit, I won't be able to maintain even a car anymore (a must here, since public transport, where I live, is non-existent). I will be in a very shitty situation if I get fired, although that chance is low. Shitty enough to become homeless or crawl back to my mother's house, a place that I vowed I'd never return to. Also, even if all goes well, all my future plannings, financially speaking, will be set back for at least 5 years and I won't be able to retire in less than 30 years, if at all. What I'm trying to say is, financially speaking, I'm waaaay better off staying married.

So, should I divorce now or wait 15 months until I get stability?
