This is most certainly not enough time. These women who do this need to be sentence to the exact same amount of time that their victim, meaning the person they falsely accused would have gotten had they been found guilty. I saw this happen one time when I was in college.

This girl famously had this boyfriend since they were in grade school or something like that. They both came to the same college together and everyone just kind of knew they were an "item".

One day I was at this frat party and she was there without him, dancing and drinking with other guys. We all thought they had broken up.

The next day she claimed this guy from the party raped her and was back with her old boyfriend. He believed her like a dumbass but everyone who was at the party knew what really happened.

She never filled charges with the police and as far as I know he never got into trouble or anything, but her boyfriend was all over campus that day looking for him trying to start a fight.

They weren't together much longer after all that took place.
